How to Slay These Fashions While Saving Them Coins
As we wrap up the summer, I’ve decided to turn a new leaf. While I have always been on team affordable fashion, shopping my favorite stores like Forever21, H&M and Primark, I’ve also been on team #youshoptoodamnmuchanditneedstostop. And I’ve always been unapologetic about it. But times are a changing folks. I’m on a mission to maximize my wardrobe and slay these fashions while saving them coins. You with me?
Now, take a look at this video featuring some of my favorite late summer/early fall ensembles.
Cute, right? Now the bag is definitely a summer bag, and it’s a knock off. Go ahead and judge me, but I was not about to spend $150-200+ on a summer bag when I live in New England. Where they do that at? Nah, I copped this beauty in neutral and black HERE, saving myself plenty o’ change by doing so.
Here’s how to maximize your wardrobe:
With jumpers and rompers, you can experiment with blazers, cardigans, hats, flats, and heels to dress it up/down.
My recommendation? Invest in a white blazer.
Snag this white blazer HERE, or this one HERE and don’t say I never put you on.
What next?
Invest in a pair of comfortable, nude sandals/shoes, you can wear throughout the spring, summer, and fall. I love a colorful shoe as much as the next girl, but they can’t be worn with everything. Feel free to splurge on one or two pairs of bright shoes, but have more nudes/neutrals.
My final tip? Grab a wrap dress:
Not only are they flattering to almost every shape out there, they can also be warn multiple ways. With a blazer, with a sweater/cardigan, throw on a pair of skinny jeans (like these HERE), underneath your wrap dress to change up completely. Play with your accessories, as well.
I’ve had my eye on this one for a while:
Let’s recap:
Blazers, wrap dresses, and nude shoes. Think staples. Items that can be worn from day to night and throughout several seasons. As I live in New England, I obviously have to have some items that solely for summer or winter, but I’m usually able to wear the same items in the spring, summer, and fall.
