When I first starting wearing my natural hair, it was all about growing long hair. But it seems the scene is changing, and naturalistas are big chopping (again) and tapered cuts are all the rage. I’m totally obsessed, even though I haven’t built up the nerve to actually cut my own hair. What I am considering is an undercut – where the hair on top is long, but the back and sides are very short. It’s like the best of both worlds!
