Here’s What We Know About The San Bernardino Shooting That Left One Child And Two Adults Dead

Yesterday, we were all stunned to discover that yet another shooting had rocked the community of San Bernardino, California. This time, however, the shooting took place at North Park Elementary School targeting a special needs teacher, Karen Smith, and killing one of her students.

Here’s what we know so so far:

  • The suspected gunman, Cedric Anderson, 53, had a history of weapons, domestic violence and possible drug charges.
  • Cedric and Karen were friends for four years before getting married just a few short months ago
  • Karen’s mother told The New York Daily News that Karen moved out only 6 weeks after their marriage when she discovered that a “new Cedric” has emerged.
  • “He told her he would throw her out the window,” her Mother said. “She was shocked, like ‘What happened?’ He was so kind to her while they were dating. She had no idea.”

He was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.”

I’ll be sure to update this post with any more information. My prayers go out to all of the families and children affected by this tragedy.
