Let’s face it, I have enough makeup to last me a lifetime, so I’m trying to better about not buying everything new in the land of cheap and pretty.

Still, I couldn’t resist the Wet n Wild Fergie Eye Shadow Palette in Desert Festival, and I’m glad I didn’t. For $5.99 this little palette packs a mean pigmented punch.

Okay, back to our regularly programmed eyeshadow swoonage:  Dessert Festival is one of several palettes released by Wet’ n Wild earlier this year.  My thoughts? Great color pay off. Great staying power. No complaints. I resisted the urge to snag them all from my local drugstore, but far be it from me to tell you to do the same. Take a looksee:

To get the maximum color payoff and staying power I applied NYX’s milk eyeshadow pencil as a base before applying the shadow:
